Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast at the Orpheum was so much fun:)  We went to the Saturday afternoon show.  Both of the kids really enjoyed it.  There was some "Technical Difficulties" when the Beast went to change into the prince but the show must go on.  Andrew liked seeing the orchestra play underground and Gaston's part when he sings with the mugs.  Piper loved the part when Belle wore the yellow dress but she also liked the purple dress and the yellow and pink dress at the end of the show.  "Mommy that was my favorite!"

My Daddy

Just to share one of my favorite memories with this guy...he used to take me Flounderin'.  So that ment he would charge his battery for the shallow bottom fishing boat all day and make sure he had this contraption of a light ( huge light with a duct tape handle) to see the flounder.  We usually left after dark and returned around 1am if it was a good fishin' night.  He used a gig and he taught me how to use the trolling motor on the back of the boat.  We went to Daulphin Island and there were about 5 different spots we could put the boat in.  Of course, I really went flounderin' to get some one on one time with him and a snickers and a coke at the gas station on the way there.  I usually fell alseep in the Toyota truck on the way home.  The next morning we would tell mom and Mindy and Macy about flounderin'.  Happy Father's Day!
