I know the pictures are a little blurry (new camrea, user error) but it also explains what a crazy day it really was;) Field Day was great! I was caught between my 5th grade class and Andrew's class, so I felt as though I was trying to be in two places at once. It was eventful:)
Mrs. Rogers class did so good on their chapel program:) It was a special Mother's Day chapel and each student wrote a few sentences about their mom. Andrew loves me because I am a fifth grade teacher and an Alabama fan:) He then gave me a rose, so sweet. Andrew also lead the prayer during chapel and he just made our hearts swell.
Piper's program fromher Mother's Day out was so precious! It was titled Sweet Endings and each class was a piece of candy. Her class was Gummie Bears. She played the blocks in the first song and then did a little dance to a Gummie Bear song. She showed us her work in her classroom and we also took a picture with some of her friends. Her teachers, Ms. Carol, Ms. Tammy and Ms. Lisa did a wonderful job!
She wanted a picture with the flamingo to match her shirt.
The Dinosaurs are a little to realistic:) Andrew put on his brave face put he did get spooked a few times by his Daddy. Piper had a white knuckle grip on my hand as we walked through. She didn't want to get too close to any of them except the baby ones. It is a great exhibit but it does cost a few dollars more with the zoo admission.
