Memorial Weekend

We had a busy visit to Mobile this trip:)  After Marie's Graduation we stayed and went swimming for a few days and I took the kids to beach one day.  Papa Rowe took Andrew flounderin' two nights at Daulphin Island.  He loved it!  Notice the jellyfish and sting rays are already out this summer and it's only May.  The man sitting behind us on the bech caught this sting ray not far from where Andrew was in the waves.  Of course, both of my kids wanted to pet it:0  Piper played in the sand and Andrew "wiped out" in the waves most of the day.  Afterwards, we went to McDonald's for lunch and my kids ate the MENU!  Ya, know the book If you give a Mouse a Cookie?  Well, if you take your kids to the beach and they play all morning when you leave they will ask for McDonald's on the way home.  When you stop at McDonald's they will want a happy meal.  When you order them a happy meal with burger/ chicken nuggets fries, apples and a water they will want another one.  After they finish the first one, you will order from the dollar menu to try a save a few bucks to get them more nuggets/ burger and fries.  When they finish that, they will want dessert.  When you buy them 3 cookies for a dollar they will eat 1 1/2 cookies and then ask what's for dinner!  And I still haven't had my lunch:/  They keep asking when we are going back?

Marie's Graduation c/o 2012

Yay Marie!  Congratulations class of 2012:)  Marie received the Always Remember Others award this year for the class of 2012.  The award has been given since 1979.  She plans on double majoring in Music and English in the fall at South Alabamba on a full scholarship!  So proud of you!!!

Each school year the classmates in each class vote for a boy and a girl that demonstrates leadership, Christian character and qualities of someone who encourages others.  This year Andrew won for his class, Mrs. Rogers.  He received a pin to wear on his lapel.  We are so proud of him:)

Ballet Recital

Piper has beeen taking Ballet since January and this was her recital.  She has loved ballet and really likes her teacher Ms. Sarah.  She will be hapy to show you EVERYTHING she has learned so becareful what you ask for:)

Andrew's Baseball Season

Andrew is playing coach pitch baseball this season and he loves it.  He is catcher:)  Their games did not start until the beginning of May and it will last until the middle of June.  He has a few more games left, so I hope to post a few more pics before the season is over.
