Easter has been really fun this year! We went to church to play some games and eat lots of candy on Saturday with friends from church. The weather was rainy so we had a blast inside the gym doing the bunny hop and inside the classrooms finding eggs. Easter Sunday started in Nashville with a beautiful worship service at Lads to Leaders (next post) and then the Easter bunny left our baskets filled with lots of goodies.

School Days
Andrew first day of school with his new glasses:) He is so excited about his camo glasses! He only needs them to see the board and other things that are far away but I have a feeling he will wear them quite often because they are so cool!
Piper is learning the letter "U"this week and today they were allowed to wear an occupation or sports uniform. She has decided that she is a Notre Dame fan so she did not want to wear her Alabama cheerleading uniform. She went upstairs and picked out her Chef uniform. She was so happy to be a chef today!

Programs
We have had a busy week! Piper had a Spring program call Celebrating 60 years at Harding. Since I am the Specialty teacher I was involved with all of the songs and choreography. The teachers and aides at Harding were wonderful to work with. All 8 classes and 10 songs were successfully produced for this sweet program. Piper had a wonderful time performing and really liked her flowers that Andrew gave her. Andrew's class had chapel the next morning and they did a skit with the book You Are Special by Max Lucado. He was one of the towns people. So sweet:)

Spring Break '13
Our spring break was fantastic!!! We enjoyed our time with Mrs. Jennifer, Kendal and Dillon at Dauphin Island. We went to the beach and the Estuarium. The beach was fun but it's still a little too cold for the mommies to get in the water. The kids on the other hand played in the water a lot. We had some family time with my crew and ate dinner with them most nights. Max and Katy are getting so big and everyone enjoyed holding them. Krispey Kreme was delicious! The zoo has a new exhibit with stingrays. Piper wasn't sure about them but Andrew loved feeding them. The sea lion show is always entertaining and they have a baby sea lion. We had a wonderful break!
