New Teacher

Andrew's school had 24-25 students in each of the two first grade homerooms this year at Barret's Elementary. Barret's was able to get a third first grade teacher to make the classrooms smaller with 16 students in each class.  Mrs. Parsley is Andrew's teacher and Mommy is trying to contain her excitement:)

Andrew likes my desk:)

Our world is changing at the Jamerson household.  Mommy has gone back to school as the Learning Facilitator at Barret's Chapel Elementary.  Andrew has started first grade at our new school.  He is adjusting very well and has 3 friends in his class that goes to church with us. Mrs. Hodge has invited me many times to Barret's to be the Geography Bee announcer and to read to the classes ove r the past few years.  She was also my Assistant Principal at my last school.  I think the school is so cute and the people are the ones that make it so special.  Mrs. Carpenter is Andrew teacher and she is really fun!  Of course, lunch and recess are the beginning topics right now after school on the car ride home.   We are both enjoying our new adjustments:)

Playtime at Pump it Up

Christmas in July

Andrew took an art class at Art N Soul where he painted a Christmas picture.  He really enjoyed it and wants to go back and do another class very soon.  I'm excited about having another painting/decoration to put up for the holidays:)
