Andrew #9

Happy Birthday Andrew!!!  This year Andrew wanted his party at the movie theater.  We booked the party room and had cake and ice cream.  He also opened his presents, which is is favorite part.  We saw the movie The Croods.  It was so funny!  Each kid had popcorn and drink and I made them goodie bags with candy to eat during the movie.  Andrew really enjoyed his party and says his favorite gift was the iPod touch.  I can't believe he is already 9 years old.  I knew the time would fly by fast and they say it gets worst the older they get.  I can't imagine it being any faster.  This boy amazes us everyday.  He has a heart of David and cares for others so genuinely.  He is busy and loves football.  He can match you word for word if you want to compare the stats.  We are blessed to be his parents and love him more everyday!  God bless this child:)

Piper's Chapel Program

Piper and her friends in Mrs. Laura's class did a great job in chapel this week.  They did the letters of the alphabet in sign language and sang the Bible ABC's.  It was so sweet!

Andrew's team was a Bible Bowl finalists and our other team from Bartlett Woods won 1st and 2nd place.

Andrew's puppet team won 3rd place.

Our Lads to Leaders trip is always something we look forward too.  Now that Andrew is competing and Piper is starting in the kindergarten section we are very busy when we arrive to Nashville.  We see old college friends and area churches throughout the weekend.  It is so much fun!  This program has encouraged our children to become confident and faithful leaders in the church and we are very blessed to participate in it each year.
